FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - One would have thought that some of the local trainers would have targeted this event in the hope of plundering a prize on a big day at HQ. There are several Kildare contenders to choose from and the nod falls in the direction of Tracey Collins’ ZIPPITY. The Conyngham Lodge runners are always worth a second look, especially at the likes of the Guineas festival here. They’ve booked Sean Davis for the spin on the grey, and that helps heighten confidence. Davis gained many further admirers last term when over with Richard Fahey, and expect him to ride plenty of winners wherever he plies his trade this campaign. Sundance Star and Annabelle Rock begin for new trainers. Market support would be interesting. It mightn’t be a race for big stakes as many look capable of taking a hand.
