FormscanBy Mark Nunan - It wasn’t a bad effort from SIRJACK THOMAS when fifth on handicap hurdle debut at Punchestown and he might be better for the experience. It was his first jumps race for quite a while and this four-time Flat winner (rated 84 on the level) is potentially very well-treated off 98 in this sphere. Maybe seeing out two miles might be an issue for him but the sharp track here should help in that regard. The selection is closely matched with Punchestown runner-up Breezy Bell at the revised weights and that mare, a winner at Ballinrobe in August, is a danger. Clody Valley was second on handicap debut in March and was in the frame a couple of times last month as well so shouldn’t be far away. Peace Party ran an encouraging race when seventh to stablemate Fair Minded at Galway and is entitled to come on for that first run in eighteen months.
