Moylisha Tim is likely to step back up in trip after he finished a fine second at Navan on Sunday.

The Richie Rath-trained five-year-old won a Grade Three over three miles at Cork earlier this month and performed with great credit in the Grade Two "Monksfield" Hurdle at the weekend.

That race was run over two and a half miles and his trainer now has the three-mile Dorans Pride Novice Hurdle at Limerick over Christmas in mind for his stable star.

"I was very happy with him. He went to the Cheltenham Sales the week before last, going over and back and you could say he was off for 10 days with all of that," Rath said.

"It was a great run on that ground. He was carrying more than anything else and the ground was probably a bit deep for him.

"Maybe all the travelling over and back to Cheltenham might have caught him out a bit in the last furlong.

"He is as tough as tough could be. There is a three-mile hurdle at Limerick over Christmas and he will probably go for that next.

"We were going to let him off but he is thriving on racing. I will keep tipping away with him until he tells me he needs a break.

"He has kept improving and he is still improving. I think he will be some horse next year. He will stick to hurdles, he is not a big stamp of a chaser but you'd have to think he will win over fences.

"It is great for his owner (Timmy Farrell) who has the dam and a full-brother. He is only five and already has black type. He owes us nothing at this stage."
