There is also a plunge on The Major General in the mile maiden at 2.20pm. Aidan O'Brien's newcomer is 4/1 from 15/2.

Meanwhile, in Wexford Hurricane Bleue s supporters have backed her from 20/1 to 10/1 for the mares' bumper at 5.35. Tom Cooper's charge makes her racecourse debut today. Attribution is a very solid favourite for the two mile maiden hurdle at 3.50pm. The Gigginstown runner is 4/5 from 11/8.
