The well-backed Its'afreebee took the bumper at Bellewstown, Woods Financial (Ladies) Flat Race, providing his rider Niamh Fahey with her second racecourse success.

Third to Knocknanuss at Killarney on his last start the five-year-old son of Danroad was available at 4/1 last night.

He opened at 5/2 on-course before going off the 9/4 second favourite in the colours of Maureen Fahey.

Having lead and disputed throughout he went a few lengths clear from the three furlong pole.

He was ridden a furlong and a half from home and kept on well inside the final furlong to score by two and a quarter lengths for trainer Mar k Fahey. Volvalien was sent off the 4/5 favourite and he had no excuses in second under Katie Walsh for Alan Fleming. Cashelard Lady was a further half a length back in third under Nina Carberry for Shane Crawley at 7/1.

The front three went thirty-four lengths clear of the fourth.
