Aidan O'Brien has a quartet of runners as he bids to win the Juddmonte Beresford Stakes for the sixth year in a row at the Curragh.

Ryan Moore has opted to ride Capri, who won a Listed contest at Tipperary last time, which means Seamie Heffernan rides Exemplar, Colm O'Donoghue is on Latin Beat, a rare debut winner for O'Brien, while Donnacha O'Brien gets the leg-up on the choicely-bred Yucatan.

It's far from a training gallop for the Ballydoyle maestro, though, as Jessie Harrington's Escape Clause and the Dermot Weld-trained Firey Speech are tough opponents.

The Group Three C.L. And M.F. Weld Park Stakes features a trio of O'Brien fillies in Elizabeth Browning, Nutcracker Suite and Wild Irish Rose, but on the formbook the pick of the Irish runners is Weld's Eziyra.

Second in a similar contest here last time, she sports a hood for this contest and is a likely challenger, though May Hill Stakes runner-up Grecian Light is a potent British raider for Charlie Appleby and Godolphin.

O'Brien has been without a winner in the Group Three Renaissance Stakes since 2006 and he will be hoping The Happy Prince can break that drought, having gone close in a hot race at Doncaster last time.

Admirable veteran Gordon Lord Byron could be a big danger despite giving weight all round, while Goken, Jane's Memory and La Rioja form a three-pronged assault on the race from British trainers.

Forgotten Rules makes a belated reappearance in the Listed Sycamore Lodge Equine Hospital Loughbrown Stakes, where he will face the veteran Jennies Jewel and three-year-old Twilight Payment.

The meeting gets under way at 1.50 with the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden, which sees O'Brien's Finn McCool try to make it third time lucky, while Joseph O'Brien could provide the ammunition for sister Sarah in the Manguard Plus Amateur Riders Derby Handicap, courtesy of Udogo.
