Patrick Prendergast is considering a quick reappearance for Moteo in Sunday's Rathasker Clodovil Irish EBF Garnet Stakes at Naas.

A winner on her debut at Leopardstown, she was third in a Cork Listed race last week.

"She’s good ground filly and the going is yielding at the moment, but the forecast is for a reasonably dry week so it was worth putting her in," said Prendergast.

"She will have the option of the Cooley Stakes at Dundalk the following Friday, but we will just see what the weather does.

"Cork was big step up from Leopardstown and we were delighted with her run. She definitely looks to have a future at this level and Ronan (Whelan) felt that she would have learnt a lot from Cork."

Among the 25 entries is Aidan O’Brien’s Irish 1,000 Guineas runner-up Could It Be Love.

Joe Murphy’s Gustavus Weston is one of 27 still in with a chance of winning the huge prize on offer in the Foran Equine Irish EBF Auction Race Final.

“He’s working nicely and we’ve been very happy with him since he won at Fairyhouse last month,” said the trainer’s son Joe.

“We did consider the Killavullan Stakes for him, but this race was always his target and it’s a very valuable pot, so he will head to Naas.

“He’s going to have to give weight all round, but we are pleased with how he is going and hopefully he will line up with a decent chance on Sunday. The step up to seven furlongs should him well too."
