Jockey Bill Lee completed a double at Dundalk this evening as he steered the Paul Flynn trained Sheberghan to win the View Restaurant At Dundalk Stadium Handicap.

Lee, successful in the hour earlier handicap with the Conor O'Dwyer trained Jon Ess held the Aga Khan-bred son of Sea The Stars up behind the leaders and while the pair improved to dispute the lead with Wild Shot with a furlong to race, Sheberghan edged ahead close home for a half length win.

Trainer Flynn later said “we fancied him and he had a good run the last day. Billy said he didn’t quite stay the last day and this trip is perfect for him.

“He had a little problem with his feet after the last run and hopefully he might come on again for that. He’ll come back here for one more and will go hurdling as well.”
