Jockey Chris Hayes completed a double at the Curragh today as he steered the Aidan Howard trained Thefaithfulindian to win the PaddyPower From Horses Mouth Podcast Handicap.

Five year old Thefaithfulindian, a daughter of Frozen Power, gained a first career win over 1m3f at Roscommon in August before following up over 1m4f at today's venue in October and today, dropping back to a mile, scored a length and a quarter win over Blyton

Afterwards trainer Howard stated “we came here today over a mile because I thought she was getting quicker and Chris said she travelled very sweet. The ground seems to suit her.

“We’ll probably give her a little break now and we might see her over hurdles in about six or eight weeks.

“That was a nice pot to get and I’m delighted.”

Jockey Hayes partnered John Oxx's final winner as a trainer on Storm Legend at Naas on November 1 and initiated today's double on the Kevin Prendergast trained Cecelia Clementine in the opening maiden.
