Gowran's Friday card moved to next Tuesday

Horse Racing Ireland has announced that the Gowran Park meeting, which was to be held this Friday, February 26 but was cancelled today due to waterlogging, will now be rescheduled on next Tuesday, March 2.

This meeting will close for fresh entries by 12 noon tomorrow Thursday, February 25 with declarations to run to be made by 10am on Sunday, February 28 and the time of the first race will be 2.20pm.

However, The Red Mills Trial Hurdle (Grade 3), due to be held at Gowran Park on Friday, will now be run at Fairyhouse this Saturday, February 27 to form an eight-race card. This race will revert to entries at weights stage and fresh declarations to run for this race will close by 10am tomorrow Thursday, February 25 along with the rest of the Fairyhouse meeting.
