Plenty of rain around overnight and the ground has eased, to varying degrees, at some of the tracks due to race this weekend.

It’s now yielding to soft at Naas for their eight race Flat card which gets under way at 1.00pm. There’s light rain at present which is due to clear this morning.

After 9mm of rain, the ground at Cork is now good, good to yielding in places for an eight race jumps meeting which begins at 1.20pm. A mainly dry day is forecast.

Killarney’s three day May meeting starts tomorrow and the ground is good to yielding (National Hunt), with watering as required, and yielding (Flat).

It’s set to be mainly dry today with some showers prior to racing.

Leopardstown has had 17mm of rain since last night and the ground is now described as good to yielding for tomorrow's card which features the Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial. It's set to be mainly dry for the rest of today with frequent showers forecast on raceday.
