Summer Isles sprang a 12/1 surprise as she took the Lougher Stable Handicap under Danny Grant for Pat Flynn. Wed 21st Aug

After race at Dundalk Sun, 8th Sep, 2013 (1st)

she's improving all the time and the good thing about her is the way she gets away from the gates. She's gone and into her stride straight away.. I was surprised how far she was in front when I looked around and she's done it easily. Hopefully the handicapper won't hit her too much. There is nothing around at this level as quick as her. There is no point taking a pull as she's keen and it's better to just let her use her stride.
