FormscanBy Alan Magee - This looks a good opportunity for ALLAHO who again found three miles too far in the Savills Chase at Leopardstown last time. The French import has always raced keenly and ran a cracker last March in the RSA Chase where stamina also ran out in the closing stages. He should be spot on after a couple of runs this term and was reportedly let down by some poor jumping when soundly beaten in dense fog, along with Battleoverdoyen, behind Min in the John Durkan at Punchestown. Battleoverdoyen is a smart sort on his day and previously impressed when beating Easy Game in a Grade 2 at Down Royal but must concede 7lb here. Balko Des Flo ran well for a long way in the Savills Chase especially considering he was hampered around halfway.
