FormscanBy Tom Weekes - PAKENS ROCK might get off the mark on his second attempt over fences. A capable hurdler, he ran well on chase debut at Galway a fortnight ago and while beaten 1.75L by more experienced Scheu Time then, he should improve for the run and meets that rival 7lbs better off. Scheu Time is himself a capable type and while rated 120 over fences, that is less than PAKENS ROCK's 135 rating over hurdles. Play The Game is a notable chase newcomer as he was a smart performer both on the flat and over hurdles. He is bred for the flat but is nonetheless well experienced over hurdles and is a previous course and distance winner over hurdles. Le Musigny won a big-field maiden hurdle at Punchestown last January and while beaten 16L in a Listed race subsequently, is capable of more improvement over fences but lacks a recent outing. Soldier At War was fairly useful over hurdles but is long absent.
