FormscanBy Tom Weekes - SAYESSE comes here in excellent form and looks capable of defying his 6lbs mandatory penalty for winning at Gowran on Monday. SAYESSE was running in first-time blinkers when winning easily at Gowran and while that was on heavy ground, he has winning form on the all-weather in Britain and is now officially 5lbs well-in under his penalty, with Conor Maxwell again claiming a helpful 3lbs and blinkers again applied over a suitable trip (he is also declared to run on Saturday in Britain). Midnitemudcrabs has also won twice on the all-weather and comes here in fine fettle. She hasn't won since landing a Claimer in October 2017 but continues to run consistently well and is also ideally suited by today's trip. Magic Fountain seemed to show a little progression on soft ground at Thurles recently and is interesting on Dundalk and handicap debut, despite having plenty weight to carry. Dubai Rainbow is a previous course and distance winner who has gone up 6lbs for last month's win here over a mile. She has a wide draw in 15 but is today ridden by a capable 5lbs claimer which will help offset her winning penalty.
