FormscanBy Michael Graham - TULSA JACK should go well here. The five-year-old, trained by Noel Meade, has enjoyed his last two outings when stepped up to three miles. He was beaten just over a length into third by Wood Breizh in Clonmel and at the same venue came home second to Clara Mc Cloud, two weeks later in mid-November. That first Clonmel race was on yielding to soft and the latter came on heavy ground, so two seven on this ground won't frighten him in the slightest. It has to be noted that Paul Carberry is on stablemate Silver Tassie who has won over this distance and who will be fine on the ground. He is reverting back to hurdling from steeplechasing though and was beaten 15 lengths last-time out. Foxrock has a touch of class and is rated a stone lower over hurdles than fences. He is a previous course winner who could be a handicap good thing, but that will be reflected in a skinny price. He hasn't jumped hurdles at the racetrack since March 2013.
