Dermot Weld spoke of her as being a potential black-type filly when she won her maiden over a mile at Leopardstown in July. She won the first race on the card that evening when the going was yielding. It was quickly changed to soft after the third race. Weld did point out that she wouldn't want the ground any slower so hopefully it doesn't deteriorate to heavy overnight. She is equipped with a visor for the first time. Fairyhouse maiden winner Break My Mind would have to go on any shortlist. That was over a mile and a half so she'll certainly be staying on at the death here and will be fine on the ground. She was very well backed that day so it will be interesting to see if the money comes again. Santo Romano shouldn't be discounted. She was a revelation on yielding to soft ground over this trip in Ballinrobe when winning by half a length. She races from 4lbs out of the handicap, but has the ability to nick a place at good odds. Queen Of Alba has won on soft ground and over this trip so should be thereabouts.

Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 5lb extra for each race won Any horse rated above 90 shall initially be treated as having that rating and the highest weight allotted shall be 9st 10lb. Subsequently, the excess over 90 in any rating shall be added to the weight allotted to that horse. (For the purpose of this note, any three year old rated above 90 shall have the applicable weight for age allowance then prevailing deducted from the horse's rating prior to the original calculation of the handicap)
