FormscanBy Donal Murphy - This looks a very interesting contest and the one I'm siding with is MINELLA FORU. The son of King's Theatre won a point-to-point on his debut at Lemonfield in March of 2013 and he followed up on his first two starts over hurdles at Listowel and Navan respectively. He was then beaten on his next two outings before finishing a respectable sixth in the County Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. He makes his debut over fences now and it will be interesting to see how he gets on. Lieutenant Colonel looks his biggest danger. The Dessie Hughes trained gelding was the highest rated of these over flights and he was impressive when winning a Grade 2 at Fairyhouse in April. The son of Kayf Tara has yet to run a bad race another solid effort can be expected from him here. Sizing Granite was disappointing on his last start at Punchestown when stepped up to two and a half miles for the first time. He beat the useful Desertmore Stream by seven lengths the time before that at Gowran and he should give a good account of himself. Festive Felon unseated Ger Fox at the fourth at Punchestown on Wednesday and he is well-capable of making his presence felt. Do Be Doin' and De Benno look out of their depth.
