FormscanBy Donal Murphy - POINT OF RESCUE got off the mark at Bellewstown on his last start and he looks the one to side with here. The James Nash trained gelding did well to beat Bosman Rule, who won here on Sunday, and he went up seven pounds for that success. The son of Vinnie Roe still looks well treated off a mark of 99 and he can be expected to go close. Corrick Bridge has run well on his last two starts and he is given second preference. The Tony Martin trained gelding will carry just nine stone seven here with Luke Dempsey taking a valuable seven pounds off. Tiger Bay Lady finished a good fifth on her handicap debut at Bellewstown last month and she looks a leading contender with Jonathan Burke in the saddle. Supreme Vic is a likeable sort and she is another with solid claims while The King Of Brega, Magical Moon, Best Value and Memories Of Milan are others to consider.
An extended handicap hurdle for four yrs old and upwards (130 = 11st 10lb)Weights - Top weight in the original handicap shall; not be less than 11st 10lbPenalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap to carry 4lb extra for each hurdle race won. Any horse rated above 130 shall initially be treated as having that rating and the highest weight allotted shall be 11st 10lb. Subsequently, the excess over 130 in any rating shall be added to the weight allotted to that horse.
