FormscanBy Tom Weekes - LORD ADARE was a non-runner at Tipperary on Thursday due to the drying ground but should prove hard to beat with some cut here. He did well to win on his bumper debut, here, and looked a future maiden hurdle winner in-waiting following a fine effort on his hurdle debut recently. Then he gave the winner (albeit a four year old) 15lbs while the third placed horse has since improved his rating to 122. He jinked at a crucial stage of that race but looks sure to benefit from the effort. Merrion Row looked a nice prospect when winning his winners' bumper on debut at Galway last August (plenty of subsequent winners behind him) but disappointed slightly on two completed hurdle efforts during the winter. It is likely he will prove more effective on today's sound surface but he still has a little to prove. Polish Partisan's form has been in-and-out but at least won his bumper on a sound surface while Lo Siento should benefit from his most recent fairly promising efforts but might be vulnerable to a useful type. Jarob, a point-to-point winner, has his first run for his new trainer but has an absence of 487 days to overcome. He has been handed a rating of 111 and while he showed improved form on his most recent start, looks best watched for now.
