FormscanBy Gary Carson - ACHNAHA takes a drop in grade here after two solid efforts in graded company this season and deserves to get her brackets. She probably ran a touch freely last time when fifth in a hot looking Listed contest at Navan. Her previous run was probably a better effort as she was third behind her elders in the Park Express Stakes at the Curragh. Afternoon Sunlight was behind the selection when fifth in a Curragh maiden last year but was a touch disappointing then having been sent off an odds-on shot. She had previously chased home the smart My Titania at Leopardstown and at her best would be a big threat. Beyond Brilliance steps back up in trip having run a decent race to finish fourth to a smart looking sort in Booker at the Curragh on her return. With that run under her belt she could be a player now. Dash ran a nice race when third on her debut here earlier in the month but this looks a tougher contest now while Peony Fairy was runner-up at Dundalk twice at the back end of last year and may find a couple too good.
