FormscanBy Gary Carson - TAPESTRY finally confirmed the ability she possesses when lowering the colours of Taghrooda in the Yorkshire Oaks last month. It just didn't happen for her in the first part of this season but she had looked a class act as a two-year-old and it all seems to be coming together now. She stayed well to score over a mile-and-a-half at York but had the speed to win over six last year and the drop in trip doesn't look a major problem. An old rival in Rizeena looks the obvious danger. The selection made no impression behind Clive Brittain's filly in the Coronation Stakes at Ascot but Tapestry certainly looks to have left that form behind. Rizeena took the Moyglare Stakes on her only previous visit to these shores but Tapestry looked desperately unlucky then when going down by just a head and can make it third time lucky against that foe. Fiesolana has been a star for connections and ran a cracker to get Group One placed in France last time. She is capable of running a big race here but although she has won over a mile she may just be ideally suited by slightly shorter. French raider Kenhope was actually sent off favourite for this last year when finishing fourth. She has been well held in a couple of decent races this season and needs to be back to her absolute best to get involved. The ground was against Flying Jib down in Cork last time and we can draw a line through that. She had been progressive previously and could be one for a place here.
