The Dermot Weld trained selection won her maiden at Clonmel in May and followed up in convincing style in the Ulster Oaks at Down Royal in June. She has plenty of weight to carry here but Leigh Roche takes off a valuable three pounds and she should have too much class for her nine rivals. It is also worth noting that she is a half-sister to exciting stable mate Forgotten Rules who is a leading contender for the Irish St Leger at the Curragh next month. Rayna has been a revelation since winning her maiden at Tramore in May and she bids to make it five in-a-row here. The admirable daughter of Selkirk won over the course and distance last month and another solid effort can be expected from her here with Gary Halpin again taking seven pounds off. The consistent Dragon Fei has finished behind the aforementioned duo on her last two starts and she is another to consider while Leaf is an interesting contender making her debut in handicap company. Teoirim ran out a comfortable winner on her last start at Fairyhouse and she can't be ruled out while Toe The Line would probably prefer more of a cut in the ground.

Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 5lb extra for each race won Any horse rated above 100 shall initially be treated as having that rating and the highest weight allotted shall be 10st. Subsequently, the excess over 100 in any rating shall be added to the weight allotted to that horse. (For the purpose of this note, any three year old rated above 100 shall have the applicable weight for age allowance then prevailing deducted from the horse's rating prior to the original calculation of the handicap)
