FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - WINDSOR PARK'S presence here is one of the main points of interest on this card. Dermot Weld's charge has been impressive in winning a couple of bumpers on slower ground at Leopardstown and the Galway Festival. Weld is of the opinion that the Galileo gelding will be even better suited by a livelier surface so he should take a deal of beating in this fourteen furlong event. With the jumps season ready to begin in earnest over the coming weeks it's not surprising to see a batch of National Hunt types engaged in this finale. Two of them, Call Me Pj and Everlasting Spring begin for new yards, those of Oliver McKiernan and David Nagle respectively. The former's stable companion, Whodoyouthink is in here too and he's a previous course winner. Christy Roche's Golden Ticket was also victorious at Gowran in the past. Three others to keep an eye on here for future reference are Rightdownthemiddle, Sunday Serenade (fitted with a first-time tongue-strap) and Gerdago (a useful hurdler).
