FormscanBy Gary Carson - CAIRDIUIL must have a big shout of doubling up here after a good performance to win over a mile on Wednesday night. He was runner-up in this contest last season and has a great record around this course. He's won here on a sound surface and in testing conditions so the ground doesn't look a problem and he looks up to defying a 5lb penalty. Expensive Taste got a tough race here on Friday night when folding tamely in the closing stages and it would be a surprise if he turned out again. Port Merrion ran well in that contest on Friday when third behind good winner Botanical Lady and could be a threat if turning out again. There might not be a lot between him and stable-mate Princess Aloof on Galway form as the filly was third behind Expensive Taste here on the opening day, a couple of lengths off Botanical Lady. Prime Exhibit ran on well to take third behind Cairdiuil on Wednesday but despite being 5lb better with that rival it's hard to see him turning the tables. Togoville won well over this trip at Roscommon last time but a 10lb rise for that looks plenty.
