Two odds-on defeats followed at Navan, and his reappearance at the Curragh last month would have to go down as a disappointing effort. The Ballydoyle team is certainly not firing on all cylinders but gradually finding their feet, and this represents a great opportunity to gain that elusive first success. Both the step up in trip and better ground would have to be seen as positives. Captain Teemo seemed to handle this surface well when beating all bar hot-pot Aussie Valentine last autumn, while Princess Glamour looks the other one of interest here. She has given trouble at the stalls a few times but did show promise in two backend maidens.
