FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - BETTER BACK BOB has been to Downpatrick now four times without success but that could be about to change. The dual point-to-point winner (on top of the ground) has been second here over the track and trip the last twice and the one that beat him last time, Buster Dan Dan went on to frank the form well when runner-up in a competitive handicap hurdle at the Listowel Festival. For the third race in succession I was about to give a Gordon Elliott runner the nod in The Unsub. A half-brother to a multiple winner in Hoopy, this fellow has made a promising start to his own career – all starts coming at Ayr – including a bumper win in March. His form is on slower ground though and he might struggle, on his hurdling bow, to concede 8Ibs to the likes Better Back Bob. Up in trip Old Castletown, twice placed here in bumpers, including when going off an odds-on chance, looks next best.
