FormscanBy Gary Carson - It's hard to see past GLENEAGLES after his commanding performance at Newmarket. There didn't appear to be many hard luck stories in behind and he is expected to again hold Ivawood, who was third then. Perhaps the fact that Richard Hannon's charge came up the centre may have been a slight disadvantage then and he could get a bit closer but it's hard to see him turning the tables. Fellow English raider Belardo is on a retrieval mission after being well-beaten on his return in the Greenham. He was a good winner of the Dewhurst last season but it may not have been the hottest renewal and he looks to have a bit to find at the very top level. Tombelaine was a game winner of the Tetrarch here earlier in the month when beating Endless Drama. That was a decent performance but this looks a few leagues above now. The Warrior and Smuggler's Cove, stable-mates of Gleneagles, are pretty exposed and may be here to make sure of a good even pace.
