FormscanBy Alan Magee - This Group 2 event marks the eagerly awaited reappearance of Darley Irish Oaks winner Chicquita. The former French-trained filly also went into the record books when becoming the most expensive horse ever sold at auction in Ireland when going through the Goffs ring for six million euro last November. The daughter of Montjeu was earlier runner-up to the great Treve in the Prix de Diane (French Oaks), and it will be fascinating to see how she gets on here. However in light of her long absence and quirky nature - drifted badly left when recording her classic win here - I prefer to rely on TARFASHA. Dermot Weld’s charge made an impressive seasonal debut over this trip at Naas and, despite filling second spot behind Taghrooda in the Investec Oaks, should be suited by a return to a mile and a quarter. She also seems to run best fresh, so should be spot-on following a two-month break. Mango Diva has a Group 2 victory to her credit this year having won the Kilboy Estate Stakes here in July but put in a below par effort at Goodwood last time.
