FormscanBy Tom Weekes - EGYPTIAN WARRIOR steps up to two and a half miles for the first time but might be able to follow up his recent Listowel win. That was just his second hurdle start and he reversed previous form to beat Tom's Article, which boosted the form by winning his next start. He seems progressive and seems versatile ground-wise. War Of The Pennys, which has Davy Russell's assistance, is a consistent sort at this level and looks sure to run a big race. He is vulnerable to a useful type but is proven over this trip and ground. Bashful Beauty is another consistent performer and has just 1lb to find with War Of The Pennys. He goes well on this ground but has been doing most of his recent racing over two miles. Supreme Doc is well clear of the trio with official ratings and while he has an adjusted 16lbs (including rider's claim) in hand, was well held on his latest hurdle start. He is better known as a chaser and his current hurdle rating might be flatter him somewhat.
