FormscanBy Donal Murphy - This looks an open contest and TULSA JACK might be able to make a winning debut over fences. The five-year-old gelding won a maiden hurdle at Limerick in July and while he has been a bit disappointing since he wasn't beaten far on his last start at Navan. He finished fifth there behind Jarob and he had some useful types behind him. His trainer Noel Meade has won three beginners chases this month and the selection can continue his good run here. Five time winner Primroseandblue should be able to make his presence felt despite the fact he disappointed on his previous two efforts over fences. The Mooch ran well on his debut over fences at Wexford but he fell when beaten last time out and he is opposed. Empresario won his maiden hurdle at Down Royal in June but he has been disappointing since. He makes his debut over fences now and he will wear a hood for the first time. The Black Russian is another having his first start over fences and he should give a good account of himself.
