FormscanBy Donal Murphy - This looks a competitive contest, and a case can be made for all eight runners. ORGILGO BAY is the one I'm siding with, after he ran a cracker to finish third in the Fred Winter at Cheltenham on his last start. The John McConnell trained gelding was very keen throughout there, and only for that he may have scored. He won a maiden on the level at Ballinrobe last August, and he can be expected to go close here. Getoutwhenyoucan has progressed nicely this year, and he is going for his fifth win in-a-row here. Ger Fox has been aboard for three of his successes, he again takes the ride here, and his seven pound claim will come in very handy. Noble Inn finished eleventh in the Fred Winter but he is a course and distance winner, and looks to have solid claims. Rocky Wednesday has been out of form of late, but he won this race last year and he can't be discounted, while Usa tends to enjoy his trips to Ballinrobe and he looks to have each-way claims.
