He may have been a touch fortunate here last time but he was pressing Seefood going to the last before he blundered away his jockey and that rival is a smart sort as he displayed subsequently. A mark of 120 may appear stiff compared to his hurdles rating but the former pointer has always looked set to be better over fences. Our Ned has only had the two runs over fences but has plenty of experience from point-to-points. She won well at Limerick in July and didn't run too badly when third in a decent novice there later in the month. A mark of 111 doesn't look too harsh and she could prove the threat here. Best Value was well held here last month but the step back up to 3m1f should be in his favour and he could get closer now. Kanesh ran a cracker at Ballinrobe last week a few days after a disappointing run here. He has run well around here in the past though and he could be a big player if in the same form as last time. Glenstar was a fair enough third on his last visit here but this may be a more competitive event.
