FormscanBy Gary Carson - A couple of decent novice hurdlers tackling the larger obstacles for the first time and SILVER TASSIE is the preference on this quick ground. He was still on the heels of the leaders when falling at Fairyhouse on his last outing in April when he was tackling handicap company for the first time. He won twice over timber in his novice season and produced a few other good efforts. Noel Meade has said before he loves fast ground so this time of year seems ideal for him. Sizing Jo'burg has to overcome a long absence but is sure to be fit and ready coming from a leading yard. He got a high enough rating for winning at Downpatrick maiden but showed a fair level of ability after that and with the stable's runners generally improving for a fence he has to be a big threat. Henry de Bromhead also runs Tisamystery. He ran a decent race on his chasing debut behind a couple of smart sorts and with that run under his belt could be a player now. Bonifacio was also third on his chase debut here last month. He didn't make much impression from before the last then but the winner, Seefood, is a decent sort and given natural improvement he could play a part against less experienced rivals. Pay No Heed and Royal Chief were consistent enough over hurdles but judged on their ratings they have a bit to find on their chase debuts.
