FormscanBy Gary Carson - MANHATTAN SWING may have proved a bit of a disappointment on the day when well-backed to make a winning debut over hurdles at Galway but that was a good contest and he takes a significant drop in grade now. The horse that finished just in front of him then was rated 128 and it looked a solid race. He's entitled to improve for the experience and given his level of form on the Flat he should be too good for these. Mizyen may be the one to give him most to do. He didn't run too badly on the level at Galway and has been placed on his three hurdles starts to date. The handicapper has given him a fair enough rating of 114 and he's entitled to be a force in a race like this off that kind of mark. Sizing India switches back to the smaller obstacles after a tumble over fences at Clonmel, when last seen in June. He held every chance that day going to the last and has some decent enough hurdles form previously so can't be discounted. There may be a chance he's getting a run here, however, before a return to chasing. Stynes was staying on until a blunder at the last on his last visit here and could be place material.
