That was a significant improvement on her previous two outings and the penny may have dropped now. The winner Blackstone is no star but is a solid enough sort and holds a rating of 78. A repeat of that run looks good enough to claim this. Wayne Lordan takes the mount and you would assume he had the choice between Tommy Stack's charge and the David Wachman-trained Saldanha Bay. She was well held in fourth in a Naas maiden last time but that was a stronger event and taking a drop in grade now she could be a threat. Empress Toorah ran above her mark when third at a big price in a Naas maiden earlier in the month. The fact that she was well beaten back in handicap company a few days later casts doubt over that performance. Memorable showed some promise in a Tramore maiden first time up but was well beaten in a better contest at Navan subsequently. It's hard to know if a further drop in trip will suit.
