FormscanBy Donal Murphy - RODRIGUEZ will love the quick ground here and he should give a good account of himself with Brian Cawley taking a valuable five pounds off. The Charlie Swan trained gelding won a handicap hurdle on good to firm at Roscommon earlier this month but disappointed at Tipperary last Sunday on good to yielding. He wasn't beaten far on his last two efforts over fences at Roscommon and Down Royal in June and in this lower class of a contest he can be expected to make his presence felt. Most Chaste went up nine pounds for winning over the course and distance on her last start and she looks a leading contender. The ground was yielding to soft on that occasion but she has performed well on quick ground in the past. Handicap debutant Express Du Berlais is another to consider with Ger Fox taking a valuable five pounds off. He ran well to finish third behind Most Chaste here earlier this month and it will be interesting to see how he gets on now fitted with cheekpieces for the first time. Jansboy is another handicap debutant in the line-up and he looks to have solid each-way claims for Paul Townend and Mick Winters while Ballysteen, Pestal And Mortar and Fennis Moll are three others to consider.
