The versatile gelding has been a credit to connections and recorded a career highlight last term by landing the Leopardstown Chase. Paul Fahey enjoyed another memorable day with the 11-year-old when partnering him to take the charity race at the Punchestown Festival, while he also ran right up to a mark of 140 last term when runner-up to Jennies Jewel in a valuable handicap hurdle at Navan. There are no fitness concerns as the selection bounced back from a bad blunder early on in the Kerry National by running a cracker in the Cesarewitch when staying on strongly behind El Salvador. Moonshine Lad hails from a yard in tremendous form at present and, while capable of further improvement and no forlorn hope on his second to Sure Reef in a Grade 2 novice hurdle at Leopardstown last term, has plenty to do at the weights. Ordinary Man is a quirky sort who could run above his rating in a small field, while Keep On Track presumably reappears here as a prelude to a cross-country campaign.
